elcome to the journal for April O’Hare Photography! Here you’ll find all of my latest photographic outings with the couples, families, seniors and small businesses that I get to work with and make beautiful photographs for. You may also see a personal post here and there discussing my life or my travels with my teeny family of one husband and three cats! Sometimes I even write advice articles with tips to help make your photo experience better which you can check out under the “Educational” category.

Take your time and look around! Type in the place where you’ll be getting married in the search box to see if I’ve photographed there before. At the bottom of the page I’ve highlighted some of my favorite sessions and weddings from the past. Grab a drink and have fun going down the photo rabbit hole!

Intimate Colorado Mountain Wedding Ceremony | Sapphire Point at Lake Dillon

July 12, 2016

Dashley and Christopher and a select handful of their closest family and friends made the drive out to Colorado from Texas a couple of weeks ago to celebrate their love in a beautiful wedding ceremony at Sapphire Point. It was a gorgeous afternoon with some cloud cover keeping us all from baking in the harsh Colorado sun. We were lucky with no actual rain to contend with, my favorite for ceremony photos! Dashley wore a beautiful Alfred Angelo gown which showed off her back and Christopher’s eyes lit up when he saw her walking down the aisle with her mom. I thought it was so touching that both her ex-step dad and her current step-dad both met up with her mom at the end of the aisle to continue walking her down to greet Christopher. It was a lovely ceremony with the over-fed chipmunks scampering around like crazy and we all listened to Dashley and Christopher make their vows while breathing in that fresh crisp mountain air. After creating some beautiful family portraits right there at the point, Dashley and Christopher obliged me in creating their own beautiful portraits with mountain views and we even made sure to get some photos closer to Lake Dillon on the docks. I truly couldn’t have asked for a nicer day with these lovely people. Dashley and Christopher, I wish you a lifetime of happiness together! Congratulations!

My favorite!
