Tory and Jennifer are recent transplants to Colorado from the East Coast. They decided they wanted to elope out here in Colorado in their new home of Colorado Springs. First we photographed their engagement session in the lovely town of Manitou Springs back in June. They did eventually decide to invite just a few of their immediate family members and close friends to witness their elopement wedding ceremony. It was sweet that they got to share such an important moment in their lives with them and in a spectacular setting too. They picked the cutest little chapel ever called the American Mothers Chapel which is a part of the Rock Ledge Ranch living history farm. It’s nestled right next to the incomparable Garden of the Gods national landmark which in my opinion has maybe the most unique mountain views in the entire state. I’ve been looking forward to photographing their wedding here for a long time now! It was a beautiful sunny autumn day and we timed the whole thing to take advantage of the pretty sunset light.
