I have been so lucky this year. I have had the chance to photograph so many great families who are here in Colorado for vacation and the latest family to visit was the sweetest! We walked up the South Mesa trail which is just outside of Eldorado Springs (Which has a beautiful state park, if you ever have the time to go on a hike there, you should!) and a little south of Boulder too. As everyone probably knows by now, it’s really one of my favorite places to take my clients for a session because those mountains are just so unique and pretty. It’s even starting to transition to a bit of an autumn look these days and it’s barely September. Where has the summer gone? But back to this particular family, their youngest was a bit shy at first and I was nervous that she just wouldn’t feel up to giving any smiles that day. But, about a quarter of the way through the session she suddenly woke up a little bit and it was all smiles from there on out:) She had fallen asleep in the car on the way over so I think she might be like me and needs a little time to ease out of sleepytime! And her big brother was a total champ the whole session. What a couple of little lovebugs:)
