elcome to the journal for April O’Hare Photography! Here you’ll find all of my latest photographic outings with the couples, families, seniors and small businesses that I get to work with and make beautiful photographs for. You may also see a personal post here and there discussing my life or my travels with my teeny family of one husband and three cats! Sometimes I even write advice articles with tips to help make your photo experience better which you can check out under the “Educational” category.

Take your time and look around! Type in the place where you’ll be getting married in the search box to see if I’ve photographed there before. At the bottom of the page I’ve highlighted some of my favorite sessions and weddings from the past. Grab a drink and have fun going down the photo rabbit hole!

Greeley Family Photography at Glenmere Park

I have a lovely summer family photoshoot for a Greeley family photography session created for a special wedding anniversary for this family’s grandparent’s. The family on today’s blog post are celebrating 60 years of marriage for the patriarch and matriarch of the family. It was so cool to see 4 generations of a family gather together in one place to create portraits as one family unit. We met up at Glenmere Park in Greeley and spent a couple of hours photographing the big group all together as well as the individual families. Glenmere Park is a really nice public park in Greeley for family pictures. There are tons of trees all over, some nice ponds, and a large gazebo that we used for some of their family photos too. We focused on creating a nice extended family portrait for this Greeley family photoshoot and we even managed to squeeze in some sibling pictures and couples photos too. I also love that we were able to capture grandma and grandpa with all of their grandchildren. I love that they planned ahead too. They knew a family photography session would take a little bit of time to capture all of their requested different family groupings in the photos, so they came prepared. They brought their own snacks, drinks, and chairs and it was a pretty fun time for them to hang out together even with the mosquitoes coming out in full force that evening. Here is just a small sample of some of my favorite family combinations that we were able to capture that evening.
