I had the opportunity to photograph at Mountain View Ranch in Pine, Colorado for the first time last week. I had taken a quick peek at their website to get an idea of what it was like and I was pretty excited to see it for myself. It’s a HUGE property with a ton of options for pretty photo locations. I really love that Crystal and KC chose to get married in a pretty meadow in front of a beautiful rock formation that I believe is named “Lions Head.” The reception was held in the Willows Barn and in keeping with the feel of the venue Crystal’s decor was perfectly vintage and rustic. There was a lot of attention paid to the details which I think you’ll notice in the photos. One cute idea was that KC’s niece and nephew held hand painted wooden signs up and down the aisle. I also love that in Colorado you can choose to have someone close to you officiate. It’s certainly not for everyone, but there is something very special about including your relatives in the ceremony in this way. Just as G and I did, KC and Crystal’s ceremony was led by KC’s dad.
